Welcome to my web site, I live in South West London, UK. I am professional Health Physicist employed by the Government. I work in the controversial area of radiation protection policy, which includes the ethical and social dimensions of policy making.

Current issues include :- Mobile phones, disposal of radioactive waste, the precautionary principle, risk communication, depleted uranium. I am interested in the interaction between technology and society. The concept of open and accountable government. The practical application of the Freedom of Information and Environmental Information Regulations.
