Welcome to my web site, I live in South West London, UK. I am professional Health Physicist and Chatered Radiation Protection Professional. I have worked for many years in the controversial area of radiation protection policy, including the ethical and social dimensions of policy making.

Issues I have worked on include :- Mobile phones, disposal of radioactive waste, the precautionary principle, risk communication, depleted uranium. I am interested in the interaction between technology and society. The concept of open and accountable government. The practical application of the Freedom of Information Act and Environmental Information Regulations as tools to ensure accounatbility for decisions and policies which effect society.
