Photography provides a unique blend of art and science. It enables us to document and share our lives and events with others. It encompasses the mundane and the extraordinary, the microscopic and the macroscopic. Above all photography as far as I am concerned, is about fun and that illusive perfect image.

I started out using an Canon 620 35mm SLR and have now migrated to digital photography using a Canon 350D. I use RAW shooter essentials and Adobe Photoshop to process the images. Subjects that interest me include travel, sailing, nature, cities, family and friends.
